Fear, Faith and Everything in Between

We’ve all been there before. Stuck in your comfort zone when you know you should be moving forward. You have the vision, the idea and even the talent, but you’re hesitant to jump because you can’t quite see what’s on the other side. You want to see how beautiful the forest is, but stay standing still among trees of doubt.

There was a time when I was on the cliff of change, but fear had me stuck and afraid to jump.

What if I let someone down who was depending on me?

What if I failed miserably and fell flat on my face?

But I did finally jump, and realized 2 things:

1. My leap forward somehow propelled others with me

2. Had I stayed where I was the only person I would have really disappointed, would have been myself

So you start timid, find confidence, then take the leap. Now something you didn’t expect happens next. Your step forward somehow helps another person also move in a positive direction. You were on the road to conquering your own fears, and somehow you help someone else conquer theirs.

That’s kinda deep, and is exactly what being the change you want to see is all about! The easiest person to change, is yourself, but when you operate at your full potential you will also inspire others to fulfill their purpose. It’s time to stop allowing fear to limit us, because when you step out in faith, your gifts will make room for you. Gifts are blessings not meant to be contained, but to be poured from your full cup of living potential, into another.
